Terms of Use
Last updated: 24 October 2026.
These terms apply to Stellune, the puzzle game for iPhone, Android and the web, offered by Shakeel Abbas (QuizRift), 508 Woodchase St, Kanata, Ontario K2W 1J4, Canada. By playing, you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.
Who may play
Stellune is for players aged 13 and over. If you are under the age of majority where you live, please play with a parent's or guardian's permission.
Your licence to play
We give you a personal, non-commercial licence to play Stellune on the devices and platforms where it is offered. The puzzles, pictures, sounds and words in the game belong to us or are used under licence (the game's licences page lists the fonts). The puzzles' mechanics are classics; their designs and the game's art are ours.
Your progress
The game saves your progress on your device and plays without an account or a connection. What you earn in the game stays yours to keep. Updates and new content add to the game and never take away what you have earned.
Purchases (iPhone and Android)
The game sells:
- Unlimited hints: hints never run out, and the game no longer offers videos for them;
- cosmetic packs for the little star (outfits and trails).
Each is a one-time purchase, made through the App Store or Google Play at the price the store shows. The store's own terms govern payment and refunds. We do not handle payments or refunds directly. Refunds are requested from Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play under their policies.
What you buy is a licence to use it in the game. It has no cash value, and cannot be transferred, sold or exchanged. You can restore purchases on iPhone in Settings, and on Android when the game starts. The web version sells nothing.
If the game is ever discontinued, what you bought stays available in the game already installed on your device, which needs no server. Restoring may then no longer work.
Hints are not money. Your jar refills every night, and you can add to it with optional videos.
Videos for hints (iPhone and Android)
Watching a short video earns three hints, up to six videos a night. Nothing in the game requires watching one. The videos are ads served by Google, under Google's terms. See the privacy policy for your choices.
Fair play
Please do not:
- decompile or reverse engineer the game, except where the law allows it;
- use automated tools against our services;
- copy the game's content to publish elsewhere.
Sharing the pictures the game makes for sharing is welcome.
No warranty, and limits
The game is provided "as is", as far as the law allows. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid for the game's purchases in the twelve months before your claim. Nothing in these terms limits your rights as a consumer where you live.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with its date. If a change matters to you, the game will tell you before it applies.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Consumer law in your own country still applies where it must.
